Beth Bjerregaard currently lives in Apex in central North Carolina with husband, Bill Riggsbee and teenaged son, Mikell Drake Riggsbee.
Bill and Drake are avid fishermen and have provided much fishing gear for Beth to haul to Tahiti and hopefully catch many sumptuous Mahi Mahi dinners!
Beth worked as a computer geek for 25+ years at multiple large corporations before MS made it impossible to keep up due to fatigue and cognitive issues.
She grew up in a sailing family, sailing the Great Lakes and the gulf of Mexico. Completed a transatlantic crossing and later co-owned a boat with her family. Beth has lost touch with sailing since being landlocked in Carolina and is looking forward to regaining her sea legs.
