Cindy was diagnosed with relapsing-remitting MS ten years ago and chose to apply to take part in the Oceans of Hope journey to celebrate ten years of good health despite her diagnosis.
For the past year she has been focused on health and wellness, working with a personal trainer three times a week. She feels that her body is the strongest that it’s ever been and wants to put it to good use by setting sail with Oceans of Hope. Although she is new to sailing she is not new to adventure and has travelled to various parts of the world, including Asia, Europe and Latin America.
Cindy currently live in Northern California with her husband and dog.
