Kaj Westphal, 56, lives in Aabenraa Jutland Denmark. He was a technician before he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 2004. Kaj is husband to Jytte and father to his 19-year old son Morten and to his 30-year-old son Michael. Kaj lost a son in 2001 who died of leukemia when he was only 13 years old. Kaj loves both racing and being at sea, and feels it is high heaven and a lovely silence when the sail is set. He states, “Don't stop dreaming, don't stop believin.”
