A welcome haven at end of transatlantic crossing

Boston is the largest city in New England and one of the oldest in the United States. It was founded in 1630 by Puritan colonists who had sailed from England and was the scene of several key events in the American Revolution, including the Boston Tea Party.

The Greater Boston area’s many universities and colleges make it an international centre of education and medicine and the city is a hub for biotechnology. More than 20 million people visit the city annually, enjoying the vibrant arts and sports scene. No visit to Boston is complete without watching the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, the oldest sports arena in active use in the United States.

Oceans of Hope will set sail from Boston on Sunday 21 September to continue her voyage along the eastern seaboard of the North American continent.
