To the Lovely Lady - Blog by Inia Hapiach

Oceans of Hope has never left my mind and I am still filled with love for her.

When I got home I first had to recover because of all the blue marks and bad knees, but my family was very happy to have me back and I was happy to be home and on stable ground. Ha ha!

But now the emptiness comes over me and I wish I was back with the loving people on board, because one of the most memorable things I experienced was the care and love between all of us. This I will remember and promise never to forget.

I have always been fascinated by the ocean and love to be on a boat, but I never imagined that I would go sailing on the North Sea, through the Kiel Canal, across the Bay of Biscay and end up in France! How amazing that I did it and I managed. I experienced that feeling of dancing on the waves, feeling the movement through my body and I am free - my spirit was free and there was only the sounds from the waves .......I just love being a sailor girl.

I send all my love to Oceans of Hope and tell her that she must take care of all the crew and bring them home safe, and I wish you all the journey of a lifetime and I hope to see you again soon. My first wish was to go through the Panama Canal and sail over to the Galapagos Islands ........I just wait and we will see what happens!

I wish Oceans of Hope and the whole crew all the luck in the world and I will follow you to the end of the world.
