After a whole month in the yard Oceans of Hope is now fully prepared to take on the eastern coast of the United States. Our first MS crew arrived yesterday with high hopes and butterflies in their tummies. After settling into their home of the next few weeks, we are now ready to say goodbye to Newport. After a crew meeting this morning we have decided that the virgin voyage of our new crew will be heading east to Martha's Vineyard, where we plan to spend the night.

We expect winds between 12-16 knots coming from the southeast, which should take us to our destination in approximately 4-5 hours.
