We left Huntington Bay yesterday and made our way down the East River around Manhattan as the sun set. An amazing and unbelievable contrast to the beautiful sheltered bay in the woods that we had just left. Even though the official events of New York City are not until November 11th to the 16th,  we agreed that the current crew shouldn't miss out on the fantastic chance to sail around Manhattan, even though we are actually on our way to Atlantic City. 

The boat is decorated and the crew mess smells of pumpkin - the warmth of the huge floating pumpkin is spreading with games and music. 

Local time onboard is 13:13 and our current location is 40°42'623N 74°02'531W in the Liberty Landing Marina in New Jersey.
