Help put the wind in our Sails for 2015!

OoH Dec 19, 2014, by Oceans of Hope News team in Yacht

Please help us buy a new sail! The Oceans of Hope has sailed close to 10,000 miles since departing from Copenhagen in June – some easy miles and some tough miles but all of them with a crew of people living with MS. A casualty on the trans-Atlantic crossing was our large spinnaker sail which is used in a following wind to provide extra speed and extra activity for the crew. It is made of nylon and unfortunately it exploded. The Pacific Ocean is looming on our horizon and here there will be many thousands of miles to sail in spinnaker sail conditions.

We need your help to raise US$5,000 to buy a new spinnaker for the boat – it will be the perfect Christmas and New Year present for the big orange boat! Please make a donation, however large or small – every penny will be of great help in speeding Oceans of Hope across the oceans toward New Zealand and Australia where we are taking our message of hope.

Thank you and happy holidays to all!
