The Oceans of Hope crew has arrived in Nuku Hiva, the largest of the Marquesas Islands in French Polynesia. However, after two weeks at sea together and an itch to reach their destination, they all got a bit goofy and filmed this video for your enjoyment.

Report from Bosun Bertram:

We have arrived to French Polynesia! 3,000 miles across the Pacific Ocean from Galapagos. We did it! Obviously we are all very happy and proud of our accomplishment here, and we are really looking forward to having a closer look at this unbelievable archipelago! Mikkel and his eleven year old daughter, Miel, were waiting for the crew on the dock. It was a proud founder of Oceans of Hope who greeted the MS crew.

"Once again the MS crew has proved that you can do amazing things if you set your mind to it. Who would have thought just one year ago that a crew living with MS would cross the biggest ocean on the planet on a sailboat. They have handled our big 400 square meter spinnaker and actually set the speed record so far on the circumnavigation. They definitely deserve that beer and steak tonight!"

Local time on board 15:00 and our current position 08.914547'S 140.100771'W.
