Oceans of Hope returns to Denmark and completes world circumnavigation.
We are hosting a welcome party on Sunday, November 15th from 2 pm to 5.30 pm at the quayside by Kulturhuset Islands Brygge.
Please come and join us to celebrate the end of the first ever world circumnavigation crewed by people living with MS – a unique achievement and one of Denmark’s largest sailing projects to date.
Together we have changed the perception of what it means to live with a chronic disabling disease. We have created inspiring stories about seizing the day despite challenges and uncertainty, and we have demonstrated how communities can help change lives. Lives where hope and dreams return and identity is recaptured as quality of life is improved through meaningful activities.
Oceans of Hope will sail past Amaliehaven, where she began the world circumnavigation on June 15th last year, to pick up all of the journey's crews with MS who can join us. The boat and her crew will then sail under the bridges through Copenhagen Port to Islands Brygge where the official welcome takes place.
