Summer expedition with Oceans of Hope 2019

Oceans of Hope is on it’s annual Summer Expedition from July 15 - August 30 and if you live with Multiple Sclerosis you have the opportunity to participate as an active crew-member on a part of the voyage.

We will commence and end the voyage in Skovshoved, Denmark, sailing in Danish waters, but also with a segment to Scotland (Aberdeen and Edinburgh). This year the boat is part of a science project, so the number of crew openings will be limited in three of the weeks of August. To balance this, we will be sailing for 6 weeks this year as opposed to 4 weeks the earlier years, so the sum of vacancies will be the same.

The Crew typically consists of 10, inclusive the Skipper and 2 sailors. As a crew member you will be part of the active crew, sharing all the functions and chores - Sailing, cooking, provisioning, cleaning, writing of blogg’s etc. - And by the way, we will be having a wonderful time together.

The price for participating is 200,- DKK / 27,- EUR  pr. day, for provisions, harbour fees and other running costs. You need to make your way to and from the harbour where you embark/disembark.
