From the event: "Boston, USA"

After a hugely successful stopover in Boston, USA, where Oceans of Hope took centre stage at the MSBoston2014 conference and took more than 40 people with multiple sclerosis sailing in the harbour, the 20-metre yacht will leave Boston today.

Oceans of Hope will head to Newport, Rhode Island, for a planned programme of maintenance work at Newport Shipyard before the new crew join the yacht for the next stage of the journey down the eastern seaboard of the USA.

The new crew will join Oceans of Hope for a 22 October departure from Newport and will sail down to Atlantic City for a three-day stopover and the next crew change before sailing north again to New York City for a five-day visit from 11 to 16 November. They will sail south to Charleston, North Carolina where they will be in port from 20 to 24 November and then on to Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 3 to 8 December.

Further details of the sailing events for people with MS in the US ports of call will be released in due course.
