1,500 Miles and Counting - Bertram Reports

OoH Mar 2, 2015, by Bertram Christensen in Yacht

Halfway there! We're eight days out from the Galapagos and this afternoon we crossed the 1,500 nautical mile mark, meaning that we are now the furthest away from land as we will be on the entire circumnavigation. One thousand and five hundred nautical miles either way! Then again, at this moment it doesn't feel too far away. We have been flying the spinnaker all day long, going between 8 and 10 knots, and practically eating the miles to our destination. The sun has been shining all day long and we are enjoying ourselves to the fullest. Ups and downs on board are shared and taken care of together. Kristian and myself are very proud of our team out here!

Local time on board is 18:30 and our current position is 7,3.89S , 115,38.41W.
