Beautiful Weather of Eastern Long Island

OoH Oct 27, 2014, by Bertram Christensen in Yacht

The beautiful weather of eastern Long Island seems never ending and as we are cruising the sheltered waters of the Peconic Bays, we are wearing both sunshades and foul weather gear. The cold wind is biting as it brings us around the scenic coastline with 5.5 knots, and it feels great. As Joan put: "This is so awesome - we love sailing". The wind coming out of the north-west keeps us from getting out of the sheltered bay, so today we are doing a day sail for a couple of hours to enjoy the weather and have a closer look at the inside of the Long Island bays.

Local time onboard is 13:54 and our current position is 40°58.661N 72°25.397W

Best,

Bertram
