As part of the pre-departure programme of activities in Copenhagen prior to Oceans of Hope's departure, Sailing Sclerosis is inviting people with multiple sclerosis to join in the celebrations by getting on board a range of yachts for a taster sail on Thursday 12 June.

There are two sessions, one at 1500 and one at 1700, leaving from the Royal Danish Yacht Club, Tuborg Havnepark 15, 2900 Hellerup. These sailing sessions will be on 7.9m to 11m sailing boats kindly provided by their owners and it’s free to take part.

You will be able to experience the exhilaration and freedom that sailing brings. No previous experience is necessary and we will supply lifejackets and wet weather gear.

You will also be able to see the project boat, Oceans of Hope, which is being prepared for departure on the round the world voyage.
