As an experienced sailor specializing in communications and PR, Josefine is Oceans of Hope’s eyes and ears on board the ship. Besides from supporting the MS crew in navigating and steering the boat, Josefine produces text and video for the project’s website and social media.
When not participating in the world’s first circumnavigation with people living with MS as an active part of the crew, Josefine holds a position as Communications Officer at a large, international architecture company in Copenhagen.
Josefine is a sailing instructor as well, and she spends most of her spare time at the harbor either teaching or racing against others. During wintertime, when the Danish weather does not allow for much sailing, she takes pleasure in traveling – preferably to a skiing destination.
”It does not matter to me if my fellow crew members happen to have a chronic disease. I happily share the joy of sailing and our incredible story with anyone with a curious mind who cares to jump onboard”, she says.
